The trouble with being bored (and spoilt)

Truly experience the (not so) unbearable lightness of being. Your existence is an accident. You are not necessary. You are not a unique snowflake, with a specially designated snowflake-mission. Humans, like mammals in general, like to mate and breed — just as much as they like to breed hate and kill. That’s pretty much it. There is no divine plan, at least not for us. We are mother Nature’s evil offspring.

When I realize that individuals are merely life stammering, and that life itself isn’t worth much more with regard to matter, I make for the first bistro with the notion of never coming out. And yet were I to drain a thousand bottles in there, they could never give me the taste for Utopia, for that belief that something is still possible.
